Amara live it up with Luxe

Galvanising everything they have learned from e-tailing numerous well known luxury brands during the last eleven years Amara’s joint founder Sam Hood and her team have brought their own label onto the market. I was invited to a preview and came away with a fabulous alpaca throw which very quickly found a home on my sofa! I’m impressed not only by the quality of the products but also by the company, the way it’s run and the personal service offered.

I thought you’d like an overview of the trends the company focussed on for the Autumn/Winter collections. See the Amara collection.

Style trends

  • Fantasy: By mixing delicate embroidery with gentle grey tones and pretty pastel shades, the modern femininity of ‘Fantasy’ give this delicate look a contemporary feel.
  • Heritage: An elegant collection of pieces which evoke a glamorous country home. Rich fabrics and tones will add depth and warmth.
  • Graphic: This loft living collection mixes sleek architectural designs and patterns with ultra-modern geometrics and cool sleek materials.
  • Luxe: Inspired by old Hollywood glamour, this decadent collection sees the use of bold tones mixed with materials such as silk and velvet.

Luxe collection

As the final on the list of four trends this one has to be my favourite. It brings up to date a trend called ‘Herald’ which I spotted in 2014-15 (see my Pinterest board) and really offers a practical way to include metallics in the home. I saw the original mood board Sam used as her starting point and here is a sneak look at part of it:

I love the mix of rich colour with neutral golds and natural brown and cream tones – it means you can pull together an ‘easy to live with’ look that exudes style and adds luxury. Either go for the full colour option or just work with the neutrals…

Take the Luxe trend into the bedroom with the San Sebastian Bedding range – it’s simply gorgeous.

In recent years Amara has grown massively as an online retailer of home interior products and it now reaches a worldwide customer base. The website has become a one-stop shop for stylish items for all budgets an I’ve found it very easy to use. Sam Hood told me their own label brand is pitched at the middle price range which means that it sits very neatly with all the other super products available.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Grab a coffee and browse a bit longer.
